Job Overview:
As a Wood Factory Production Worker at Hansavest in Finland, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, directly contributing to the production and quality assurance of our wooden products. Your responsibilities will encompass operating various woodworking machines, including saws, lathes, and sanders, to produce components according to precise plans and blueprints. You will also be expected to inspect the quality of finished products, ensuring they meet industry standards and company specifications.
Responsibilities
1. Operate woodworking machinery such as saws, lathes, and sanders, as directed, to produce precise components.
2. Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring they meet industry standards and company specifications.
3. Follow blueprints and detailed plans to produce wooden products accurately.
4. Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
5. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
6. Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions to maintenance personnel promptly.
7. Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and deadlines.
8. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to woodworking techniques and machinery.
Requirements
Proven experience as a woodworker or similar role
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and stamina
Commitment to safety regulations and practices
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Communication skills in English
